The Vice President Goes Down?

Just a sense I have that Patrick Fitzgerald's grand jury investigation around the whole disclosure of Valerie Plame's identity as a covert CIA operative will eventually come close enough to take the VP down. It's hovering right around him as we speak as it has reached Karl Rove and Cheney's Chief of Staff, Lewis "Scooter" Libby. We'll have to wait and see what exact laws, if any, Fitzgerald will argue were broken, who broke them, and who knew that they were being broken but I just have suspicion. This is not good for the country that something like this has happened but it's remarkable and heartening that the culprits will likely not get away with it. So far, the system works.
